The Original Limehouse Park Rangers Sept 2013

Limehouse Laces came into being because two girls wanted to play girls only football locally on Saturdays only there was no girls club in Tower Hamlets for girls of their age group offering Saturday football.

Starting off in March 2013 with 9 girls by September 2013 we were an FA affiliated club and had an U14 team in the Capital Girls League

The club continues to go from strength to strength.  Our goal is to provide any keen secondary school age girl with the opportunity to be part of a football team and for those teams to be open to every girl who’s enthusiastic about football, regardless of ability.  We’re doing pretty well with U12s, U14s and U16s as well as Mini Laces our programme for primary school age girls.  Next year we aim to keep moving up with our oldest girls and have U17s downwards.

We don’t just play football we really are interested in developing every girl as an individual as well as a football player.
